Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy deals with two main aspects of our order fulfilment process:
- Production: this refers to the time it takes after you purchase your item(s) on this website until your package has been transferred to a shipping company.
- Shipping: this refers to the amount of time it is estimated to take for a 3rd party shipping company to deliver your package(s) to your address.
Production
Yiddish Warmth does not maintain a warehouse facility. Instead, every item that you purchase is printed especially for you after you submit your order. Custom printing products allows for:
- Greater quality control; and,
- Helps keep our prices as low as possible!
Production Time
It's important to note that Production Time varies for each type of product. Production Time includes:
- Processing your order
- Printing your item
- Preparing your order for shipment
The Production Time for each product is listed on every product page under the Shipping tab. (For example, see the detail section of this Hanukkah greeting card.) On average, Production Time may take anywhere between 3 and 6 business days.
All orders are handled as quickly and carefully as possible, and every effort is being made on an ongoing basis to improve Production Time.
Shipping
Shipping simply refers to the time it takes for the shipping company to deliver a package from our location to the delivery address. It is important to note that Shipping time does not include Production Time but is in addition to Production Time. (See previous section.)
Shipping Companies
Yiddish Warmth works with multiple 3rd party shipping partners including the U.S. Post Office and FedEx. Which shipping company handles your delivery will depend on:
- What item(s) you order;
- What shipping service you select during checkout; and,
- Where your order is being delivered.
Shipping Services
Depending on the product(s) you order and where the order will be delivered, there are three basic categories of shipping services to choose from (although many products offer only one service while a few may offer more than three). Those services are:
- Standard
- Express
- Overnight
In general, Standard will be the slowest and least expensive shipping option; Express will be a faster, mid-priced shipping option; and Overnight will be delivered the next business day (following the completing of Production) and will likely be the most expensive option.
Shipping Issues & Errors
Yiddish Warmth is unable to make any promises or guarantees regarding Shipping times, although we try to provide reliable estimates for every shipping service available during your checkout process to help you decide on the best option for your needs.
If your order has not been delivered by the latest date provided by the shipping company, we recommend first contacting the shipping company directly as they will be best able to assist you in tracking your order and correcting any possible issues or errors. If the shipping company is not able to assist you, then you may contact us directly. Please provide all details you have related to your order when contacting us, including your Order Number, shipping name and address, and the tracking number for your package, as well as a brief description of the issue you are facing. We will review your message and contact you as soon as possible.
Tracking a Shipment
For most orders, you should receive either an Email or a Text with a tracking number and additional information relating to your order. If you entered your email address during checkout but you do not receive a tracking number, please check your Spam Folder. However, please allow for the completion of the Production process as you will not receive tracking information until after your order has been fully processed and ben transferred to the shipping company.

If you are having trouble with your order and the issue has not been fully addressed on this page, please contact us. While we are unable to make any guarantees or promises with regards to Production Time or Shipping Time, we will certainly do our best at every opportunity to ensure you are satisfied with your ordering experience. We will make every attempt to determine if your order has been delayed and to provide you an explanation, or else to coordinate with the shipping company if you are unable to get help with a potentially lost or late package.
